IELTS is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English, and was established in 1989. IELTS is one of the major English-language tests in the world. It is recognised by more than 11,000 education and training providers in more than 140 countries. It has two types: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Both tests assess your English language skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking. The IELTS General Training test is suitable for those applying to study below degree level. This includes an English-speaking school or college. IELTS General Training is also required for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. The test features everyday English language skills that you will need in social and workplace environments.
Our IELTS Preparation Course (General Training Module) is taught by NETs (Native-English Speaking Teachers). The course is designed for students who need effective preparation within a designated period of time. It provides you with essential exam strategies and valuable practice in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Teachers will familiarise students with the format of the examinations using specially customised lessons. Authentic past papers set will be used to let students gain mock experience to be fully prepared for the actual examination. You will also learn how to avoid common mistakes when tackling exam questions.
